Every BACK TO SCHOOL look worn by BROOKE from SCREAM: THE TV SERIES, Season 1

Carlson Young as high school It Girl Brooke Maddox

The high school style scene can be divided into two camps: fashion for the masses and fashion for the wealthy, like SCREAM: THE TV SERIES’ Brooke Maddox. Brooke appears in seasons 1 & 2 of the episodic horror show, eventually becoming one of the infamous “Lakewood Six”. As expected, her wardrobe looks costly and suits the stereotype of a horror movie “rich bitch” character. In other words, it’s the type of wardrobe a girl who drives a Porsche Cayenne would wear to school.

Brooke (sassily played by Carlson Young) appears in the first season as a spoiled and sarcastic teenager. Yet as the series progresses, her character transforms from shallow and snobby to human and likable, while dressing to the nines every day (and slaying, of course). Brooke’s fashion sense is why we’re talking about her rather than her besties, Emma & Reily (who also have extensive, cute wardrobes). Not to shade their style, the Queen Bee is just more fun to talk about.

The essence of Brooke’s style is that of a sophisticated bad girl. Sexy crop tops are paired with postage stamp mini skirts and skinny pants. High-heeled pumps are the norm. Stackable gold necklaces and bracelets are her favorite accessories, and she loves adding pops of color to her wardrobe.

It’s possible that her saucy personality and dysfunctional family life situation are part of the reason for her attention-grabbing style; her father, Quinn Maddox, is the corrupt mayor of Lakewood. Mom Monica Maddox, who is sent to rehab in Season 1 and never seen onscreen, is assumed to be a trophy wife and a heavy style influence on her daughter.

Now, let’s get into the looks! Here’s every outfit Brooke wore to school in Season 1 (2015):
